In an unassuming corner of Electronic City, a temple stands, quietly and cheerfully.
A labour of love. A testimony of faith. One of the many homes of the unbelievable force we call Kali.
Here, there are no surging crowds nor thousands of square feet of space. There aren’t hordes of priests, nor shops selling merchandise. The atmosphere is surprisingly calm and easy.
There is only She. In a gentler mood than she usually is.
Here, she is almost playful, quiet casual even. She doesn’t seek to overpower, but only waits to gently rouse the seeker to a path of wakefulness.
Come, meet her. She is here to show the way, to lead you back to you.
“Kali is the goddess of destruction, the Clawed Hands, the Blood Drinker… And that’s one side of her, as it is for any god. If you knew her for thousands of years you’d know she could be all colors. The sky is black at night, but if your eyes were good enough, they could see the different lights of a million stars. Death is part of her because death is part of life.”

Purohit Moshay Purohit Moshay is the head priest of the temple.
Ever willing to lend a helpful hand and friendly ear to all those who seek him out, Purohit Moshay isn’t your stereotypical priest.
Young, personable, energetic, kind, and intelligent, he is a futuristic priest, if there ever was one.
PurohitMoshay spent his early life in Kashi, Varanasi. He was chief disciple and “Shishya Pratinidhi” to Baneshwara Nanda Tirtha, the Swami of Akhil Bhartiya Kashi Vishwanath Dandi Sanyasi Seva Samiti.
(Baneshwari Nanda Thirtha, like the four Pithadhishwar Sankaracharyas (Kedar Badri, Puri, Dwarka, Shringeri) is a Dandi Sanyasi).
Apart from carrying out his many duties and responsibilities conscientiously, the Purohit has been of the service to the Dandi Sanyasis and monks in many ways, with guidance from his Gurudev.
While in Varanasi he gained knowledge of Astrology, Veda, Palmistry, and traditional tantra of Varanasi. He also learnt Vedic Puja rituals and Tantra Puja at Kamrum Math, Dashashwamedh Ghat, Kashi.
He has headed the establishments (Prana Pratishthas) of many temples across India, with his team of priests.
Purohit Moshay performed his first Durga Puja at the age of 14 years, in Delhi, R.K.Puram.
He was responsible for daily worship at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
Purohit Moshay has served at Maa Bhavatarini, Kali Bari, Jayant, Singrauli, M.P.(N.C.L.) from 4 Jun, 2002 – 3 October, 2009.
Upon his return to Varanasi, he sought the blessings of Gurudev Baneshwarananda Ji Maharaj, and became Chief Priest of Manikarnika, Kali Bari.
Acharya Ji was honoured as “Kashi Ratna” in 2010, at the Haridwar Maha Kumbha, organised by Kashi Vishwanath Akhil Bhartiya Dandi Sanyasi Seva Samiti, (Gita Kutir).
He has also been priest at Maa Dakshina Kali Temple, in Matrika Ashram, New Delhi.
At Kamakhya Mandir, as requested by Sri Durga Prasad Sharma (Chief Priest of Kamrup Kamakhya Temple).
At Kalighat on the midnight of 31 Dec, 2009, organised by the Indian Occidental Cymbiosis, and acquired his Rajtilak on the same day.
At Vrindavan for Banke Bihari, Radha Devi, and Balram Ji on the occasion of Holi.
Maha Arati and worship Maa Tara “Shodosopochar” at Tara Pith, as requested by Tara Pith Mahapandit, and the President of Tara Pith – Purohit Snagha.
Puja Anushthan, and “Dharma Shabha” for Bamakhypa in Swet Simultala.
